Sony Ericsson posts Q2 2008 financials
Recently while browsing for Sony Ericsson mobiles I came across this article. The article also tells that Sony Ericsson is cutting 2000 jobs. Sony Ericsson released its earnings and sales figures for the second quarter of 2008. The company cites unfavorable exchange rates, increased competition, and a slowing market as factors that contributed to the company only breaking even this quarter. Sony Ericsson had previously posted much more impressive EUR 133 million and EUR 220 million income figures for Q1 2008 and Q2 2007, respectively.
